Anggit Murdani received his bachelor degree (S.T.) in Mechanical Engineering from University of Brawijaya (Indonesia) in 1995. He pursued study in Japan and received master degree (M.Eng) in Mechanical Systems Engineering and doctor degree (Dr.Eng) in Material, Structural, and Energy Engineering from the University of the Ryukyus in 2006 and 2009, respectively. He was an Engineering Staff at Samsung Electronics Indonesia, Co. Ltd in Surabaya in 1995-1997 and at Matsushita Lighting Indonesia, Co. Ltd. in Pasuruan in 1997-1999. He is currently a Senior Lecturer at the Department of Mechanical Engineering, State Polytechnic of Malang, Indonesia. He is also the Vice Director for Student Affairs at the same institution. He received short term fellowship from Japan Student Service Association in 2015. His research area includes Fatigue Behavior of Materials, Strength of Materials, Fracture Mechanics, and Composite Materials. He engages actively in several research projects in materials engineering characterizations. He is a member of editorial board in journals of State Polytechnic of Malang, State Polytechnic of Batam, and State Polytechnic of Madura. He is a reviewer for journals of SAGE Publisher and OMICS International.
